An experienced and practising piano teacher with over 25 years experience, teaching students of all ages and abilities at my home in Southport. For more information read the About page. I currently teach pupils of all ages from 6 – 60+ from beginners to diploma.
Most of my students opt for serious study taking graded examinations, others learn to play purely for pleasure – it’s up to you!
I teach various styles of playing, from classical, popular and jazz.
I am able to prepare students for GCSE and A level performances, Auditions, and Theory exams.
Furthermore I regularly accompany students for examinations.
Most students require weekly lessons. Lessons take place during term time only.

Lessons take place in my home in Birkdale, Southport. I have both a Boston Grand and a Technics Digital Piano.

No – you can learn just for pleasure, lessons are tailored for you.
There is no age limit but I would advise that the earliest age to begin would be 5/6 years old unless someone in the family has musical training so additional help is on hand outside lessons.
